Nairobi Senator and Linda Mwananchi presidential aspirant Edwin Sifuna has pledged to reduce taxation, establish a national database of schools, and ensure hospitals are paid outstanding medical claims within a month of providing services if elected president.

In an interview covering a range of issues, Sifuna described President William Ruto as a failure, hitting back at the Head of State after he had earlier dismissed the senator as empty.
