Fun fact: Female Aumaua Priest of Magran Philosopher has the most unique interactions in the second game.

You misunderstood the whole point of ending the charmed status, charmed enemies count as allies and charmed allies count as enemies.   The ability is about ending the charmed condition on your allies without hurting them

your voice sounds like neil degrass tyson to me so relaxing tbh

Priest gaming

Watching these videos again for the Turn Based mode that drops tomorrow.  I haven't played this game in years!

Withdraw has some nice benefits. For example run you chanter into the middle of the enemies with The Dragon Thrashed and stick withdraw on them letting them burn everyone from the safety bubble. Also Consecrated Ground still pulses too. And the biggest one, Cipher's Tactical Meld with Withdraw party member (ranger pet) can give you crazy amounts of defense.

It's not often i feel the urge to play a priest type character in fact I tend to avoid them. Only Pillars and Pathfinder have I ever considered the idea compelling though I wish there was a few more options in deities, no love for Abydon the smith Obsidian?

Priest is essential period. On any remotely challenging difficulty you're going to have a bad time without one though for me Durance being a favorite and an early pickup reduces my desire to roll one for the Watcher.

Really wish the radiance feat that adds a little damage also made it affect spirits

It's so effective at wiping weaker vessels it would be great if it was as good at wiping shades with a feat

These are so great and helpful! Really looking forward to the wizard one.

How do you properly set up to get good roleplay potential with your deity? i find it hard to find answers on google, but i did find that elowyn (or whatever the dead god is spelled) has almost none?? despite being the center of a major event in the area? im trying to kinda play it as a self insert and id either choose that one or the stoic life/death god, but i plan to use an arquebus so maybe the war god, but idk if id really ever worship a war god so im trying to go by roleplay potential

Wow, what gear does he have equipped around the 4:15 mark? I love the look of the shield and morningstar!

I do like how a good portion of the PoE spells take inspiration from DnD,

Best race and deity for priest?

I havent played the first game for a number of years so cannot remember of their are similar buffs that can benefit from Salvation of Time, but in POE2, its one of the most abusable spells in the game.

Note that it's AOE, and that int bonuses to duration are percentage based. High intelligence isn't going to make a very short base duration long, whereas a static 10 seconds is always 10 seconds. Secondly, some very powerful buffs are single target, so the value of hitting multiple targets with such buffs using SOT can be huge.

Ideally, you want to extend the duration of multiple very powerful, short duration, single target buffs to get the most value. In POE2, if you combine SOT with Barring Death's Door and Ancestor's memory (ideally on an ascendant cipher to give them infinite duration ascendance also), then you can end up with your entire party unkillable and with unlimited resources. Its rather cheesy, but this will let you deal with basically any fight that doesnt have repeated dispels (Sigil Master Auranic on higher difficulty levels is really the only boss that cannot be cheesed in this way).

Even without the cheese of unlimited duration Barring Death's Doors, extending things like ancestor's memory or blade turning is completely legitimate in my view, and very useful.

Two LlAMAs - Litany Against Minor/Major Afflictions, single tank and 5 sneaky backline characters, this is the way.

An essential class in any party. Durance is an adequate Priest but many don't like his personality. A main character Priest is a bit underwhelming in combat even if they are incredibly useful. I prefer a Moon Godlike Priest adventurer.

Withdraw is good because it prevents a potentially crippling wound from being knocked out. It can save needing to rest too soon.

Also, anyone find it weird that the only 4th level spell is Devotions for the Faithful?

Damn now i have one more class to consider for my playthrough 😆Priest sounds awesome. Hope wizard can stand op to the paladin and priest when you come around to them :) because right now they have some serious competition 😂👍 i'm really looking forward to your next video :) <3

I've been playing as a priest of Eothas. I love it so far except for one thing: how the hell has nobody in my party realized I'm a priest of Eothas, and WHY IS THERE NO REACTIVITY WITH DURANCE YET??? I'm so tired of hearing him shit-talk my god and being unable to say anything about it, it's so awkward!!! Please, someone tell me this changes later on in the game...?

skaen priest is best class
