Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition traces the history of Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, and Eddie through more than 50 years of heavy metal.

But is it really the documentary Maiden fans were waiting for?

In this episode of Entrequemados, a lifelong fan and someone who never connected with Iron Maiden analyze Burning Ambition from completely different perspectives. And, surprisingly, the non-fan ended up liking the documentary more.

We talk about Bruce Dickinson, Paul Di'Anno, Blaze Bayley, Steve Harris, the creation of Eddie, Ed Force One, and that identity that makes Maiden still sound like Maiden after decades.

We also discuss its main problem: Burning Ambition tells the story of what happened very well, but rarely delves into the conflicts, the songs, or the intimacy behind one of the biggest bands in metal.

Is it the documentary fans needed, or is it really made for those who don't know Iron Maiden?
