This is an amazingly good video for free content. Ive always preferred listening to uri talk strategy over anyone else in poker. Will definitely check out the Lab after this.

I have a whole folder of hands I've recorded of situations where I am preflop aggressor in a pot and I check flop and opponent starts firing off these half pot bets. I will flat call and jam a lot on the river and I think I've been called maybe 1 out of 20 times.

Amazing lesson guys, explanations and comment are very precise and simple to understand, thank you very much Mike and Uri! 👌🏻

awesome vid. learnt a lot from Uri, only from the youtube channel. Def gonna check out lab 2.0

That's a wonderful video. Well done.

the last hand says the turn Q is "nurture" due to the hand relative strength vs absolute strength, but if you simulate like hero is BB with KQo call HJ open and check the turn report, Q will make KQo's EV is up about 50% (different rake structure might be different, mine is EV from 3.24 to 5.08), Q this is a good card for KQo, besides  K, 2 or 3. The Q is not that good as many people thinks, but it still a good card and our EV is up

man im not gonna lie, i feel like ive taken this course already, just thru j.little.... but Uri's got my attention.

URI’s the GOAT!!! LFG

great job 1

This is blowing my mind and making me want to get into poker again.. too bad I'm a serious 9-5 career man now..

I love u! Ur the best Uri

Bet

at 50:00 that AKo 5bet shove hand, do we really need call here? Only if you know the opponents do this with AQo or A5s and fold to shove, the AKo vs (TT-QQ, AKo, AKs) only have 45.26% equity, let along the third person, we only have 200 * 45.25 / 100 =  90.5 bb, we lose - 9.5 BB, if we fold we only lose -6.5 BB.

And I don't count that if V have some small percentage of AA/KK

Is this not a clear fold ? It's a  huge -3bb mistake

With the Qd and 8s on first hand I think we should have raised to 3/4 pot after the As came up.  Actually full pot raise would be best

He’s capped

Hello Uri, at 46:23 you talk about cold 4betting sizes. But this is not a cold 4bet right? The theory that you explained applies to this situation where there is a cold call to the 3bet? Or it only applies to cold 4betting? Or just 4betting in general?

Thank you for your invaluable insights.

mind = blown

This is some highly +ev content ❤

Fighting for small pots with air isn’t worth it. If you only have a few BBs in the pot and set to win just more than double that, I’m not putting in a big bluff to be called by A high or bottom pair. Not gonna compound a bad hand in a small pot by putting more money in. Take it.
