idea for a video: Surviving tornado mod on a really large city, make it so tornadoes spawn every 5-10 minutes with them getting stronger and stronger

The water is why the tornadoes weren't digging down any more, it was shielding the blocks below

A tornado at 1 million mph would be way past the speed of sound (~767 mph) that's roughly Mach 1,300. For comparison, the fastest wind speed ever recorded in a real tornado was about 302 mph (El Reno, OK, 2013). Impossible for a real tornado to reach anywhere near 1 million mph.

15:10 this was actually the pulse of thermal energy resulting from the extreme friction of the air being accelerated to a million miles per hour overhead (and your pc beginning to combust)

07:31 So it turns out that, according to NASA, typically reach about 270-425 mph (430-680 km/h) windspeed on Jupiter's Great Red Spot. For comparison the highest wind speed ever recorded by a tornado was 321 mph (517km/h), set by the 1999 Bridge Creek-Moore tornado. So technically the obsidian boxes could survive Jupiter's Storm.
