There is so much to understand when you go on a cruise and it can only be from experience you gain the best knowledge of what is right for you.
I hope your feeling of sickness on day 5 Layla didn’t spoil the day too much for you.

Shame Chandler couldn’t get in the kids club till later, he obviously enjoys it so much. Really hard for you as parents to book so quickly daily.
Loved the Tuxedo Lee looked so good, and Layla you looked beautiful in your dress, a lovely couple.

Interesting you say the black tie event was a bit of a let down, I agree if you promote it, put a party on too, such a shame. Says it all that you made the effort but you didn’t really enjoy the dinner or experience.

Brilliant vlog, and I agree with you, celebration night is just about dressing up, nothing else! Also calling it Chef's Table and sticking you in part of the buffet seating (or Beach House area but it's still the buffet) is a bit rich! Anyway, you both looked fab in your glad rags! Xx

Was on same cruise as you and totally  agree with you about black tie night total let down the worst I've had on any of the ships.

You both looked lovely. Celebration night is lovely so you can dress up but I agree it is over rated. We did our first two cruises last year, Ventura and Arcadia, I have the cruise bug now. Off on Arvia to the Med in  3 sleeps time, so excited. I did feel for you on your last vlog, I had sea sickness on our last cruise from our first day. It was awful, we had gale force 12, people were falling over, struggling to stand up, things falling off tables. Some cruise companies who left Southampton same time as us, turned back as they knew the weather was so bad, but 🎉 I still love cruising. My second one this year is a fly cruise going from Malta so we avoid choppy waters. It’s all about the memories as well and we definitely won’t forgot the choppy cruise. 😊

Great video and you both looked very smart but I thought vor a black tie event it would of been more on offer . Certainly alot of 5*hotels have White Nights or  gala dinners that have a disco or live band to pass the evening away .

Enjoying your vlog series. We’ve been on Iona and are considering the cruise you’re doing for 2028. Just want to mention that we’re in the older age group and I think we’d rather be called older or elderly than just plain old! 😅

I am watching with my Mum, we are going on the same cruise but different ship in January and we really need to know where your dress is from. It is gorgeous! Lee looks very handsome too.

Hi folks ship's normally put their stabilisers away at night because they cause drag and people are in bed and sometimes they have a tight schedule between ports iam enjoying the blogs

Hi both, enjoying your series so far, I have one episode to go. I’m off on this cruise on Sunday with my 13 year old, your videos and day out guides have been brilliant for me to plan my trip. Was the ship over crowded at all other than the pool areas? Because in your videos it doesn’t look too bad. I was expecting it to be hundreds of people everywhere. Thanks

Really enjoying these vlogs. Alot of variety and very down to earth throughout. I'm not a fan of dressing up and always avoid it - each to their own - but you guys looked great.

Like you vlogs but then it was your kids in kids club day and night is this not a family holiday maybe a day or two but don’t dump them there day and night maybe next time go on holiday on your own both you won’t be watching anymore sorry
