Let me know if you'd like to see more Spider-Matt videos in this style! Like covering a few mobile or handheld titles in more detail! Where I tell you more about their history, rather than just reviews all the time. Thanks!

Man, the one that gutted me the most is the Ultimate Spider-Man sequel. I’m a fan of both the comics and the game, so a sequel would’ve been a real treat.

The only one I was actually aware of was Spider-Man 4's game, all the others were new to me. You know, was honestly expecting a TASM game in here too, but then remembered that in 2014, movie games were in their way out completely, and a TASM3 game would be some mobile only thing.

J. Jonah : SPIDER MATT ISN’T JUST A MENACE HE’S ALSO A NO GOOD MUTANT RACIST!!!!

I remember there was a sequel for Ultimate Spider-Man in GBA and NDS, it was called Ultimate Spider-Man: Battle For New York, with the Green Goblin as a playable character.
Spider-Man played pretty much the same, but with the Green Goblin you had to destroy specific objects in each level and fight hallucinations. Not sure if Battle For NY is a port of the original idea for Ultimate Spider-Man 2, but if so, it saddens me to think that we could've control the Green Goblin in a open world causing chaos with fire powers.

That eurocom Spider-Man 4 game actually looks super cool with its really smooth slick and quick animations

Bendis definitely would've responded if you'd reached out. He's only writing like a dozen comics right now he's got time.

“Let’s start in the greatest decade, the 90s!”

Matt is really earning the likes today.

I would have loved another Ultimate Spiderman game! Still would, honestly.

I remember hearing that one idea the Web of Shadows developers had for a sequel was a what what if where a Carnage possessed Spider Man would do a worst version of what Venom did in the first game and you would be playing as Venom and would have been able to use your suit to create multiple weapons and this idea eventually became Prototype

Some of these are tragic but we are blessed to live in a universe with the Insomniac games. No loss there!

You forgot to mention Carnage and Mysterio being villains in Web of Shadows 2, and that Mysterio's design was extremely similar to his design from Shattered Dimensions

USM game > spider-man 2 game. I'll die on that hill

I spent hours and hours playing the ultimate Spiderman game, the web swinging and the ways you could fight the goonies really ma... makes you... feel like... Spiderman

I think I want a Spider-Matt game. with none of the powers of a spider, but still the same roster of regular Spider-Man villains.

I always kinda saw Prototype as the "I'm not calling myself anything trademarked but I'm about to eat this city block" Carnage game we never got.

The fact they cancelled Ultimate Spider-Man 2 hurts my soul 😭😭

2:19 Spider-Man voiced by Captain Qwark is definitelly on the list of things I never expected to see.

We lost a Spider-Man game with [PROTOTYPE]’s gameplay?… god damn it activision…

I feel Ike Ultimate Spider-Man sells were also effected by Hulk Ultimate destruction. a lot of people were excited about that game
