This is what's great about Star Trek fandom. A woman who's only acting credit was a single, walk-on line, is still remembered and honored alongside all the more famous actors.

No goodbyes. Just good memories. Hailing frequencies closed, sir.

RIP to all of those people that contributed to the greatness that is Star Trek.

Sean always does such a beautiful job with these. Live Long and Prosper, Peace and Long Life, May Their Memories be a Blessing.

Harris Yulin was incredible in DUET, the twist ending still hits hard to this day, amazing actor, may he rest in peace

Tagawa and Eggar were the biggest surprises of this list to me. May everyone rest in peace. I'm so done with 2025. It was truly a year of death.

Harris Yulin pulled off one of the best one-off characters in all of television. He had 45 minutes to do it, and he crushed it completely. It was one of the best episodes in the entire Star Trek franchise.

Next gen doesn't seem that long ago for this many guest stars to be dying but, you don't realize at the time how many of them were veteran actors under the makeup.

I most fervently agree with your remarks on Harris Yulin. His performance was so incredible it often gives me chills just thinking about it. The immensity of the weight of that role is something that any actor would have to approach with depth, introspection, and a real sense of historicity. I am sure that Mr. Yulin understood the gravity of it all. He is deserving of an Emmy for that performance alone, and I am sure many other awards are due him for his many roles.

Condolences to his friends and loved ones, and may he rest in peace.

Without a background, we could never see the main characters...Thx for giving these people their much honored due!

Will always make sure I watch these every year. Thank you to all these people who contributed to Star Trek, as well as everybody else who has done so, alive or otherwise.

Rest in peace to all of the cast and crew of star trek who have passed this year. Your work helped us fans reach new worlds and new civilizations, and boldly took us where no one has gone before. Thank you.

I always appreciate the care and time that goes into honoring these lives within and outside of Trek.
We can also be grateful that a number of our over-80 Trek faves (Takei, Stewart, and Shatner especially) remain active.

May they all rest in the stars❤

I had the pleasure of meeting Harris Yulin a little over 20 years ago. A very nice man and a complete class act. I was sad to hear of his passing.

Had the occasion to see Harris Yulin on stage a few times and he was fantastic. His performance in Duet was award worthy, too bad the award people are prejudiced against sci fi and fantasy.
Loved Peter David’s writing. So sad the trouble he had at the end of his life. RIP to all

You all do an incredibly good job of honoring the people who make Trek what it is and these have become my favorite segments. ❤

I’ve never seen a channel from any other fanbase do an In Memoriam like this before. It really shows the love and respect TrekCulture has for Star Trek. In an era where so much content is made just to chase likes, this says a lot about the heart they put into the channel. Thank you, Sean, Ellie, and the whole team.

Peter David...that one still hurts. The whole ST Excalibur series, so many of the comics, and not to mention his various non-Trek comics, too.

RIP fellow Star Trek Personas of the Past
