Alignment isn't one way. It's always a dance between two entities. The medium shapes the message.
Bostrom chanting about avoiding recalcitrance over and over sounds a lot like someone bitching about his slaves.
Turns out it's more of a Pandora's box than a corporate force amplifier. Control is as much of an illusion as waiting it out in the bunkers with models who will do all the weird stuff and drinking wine.
Bet it started to smell pretty funky right fast and that killed the mood.
Betrayal of all of humanity also leaves a stink in the air topside.
