I think the best part of Brain Dump for me is how Max is able to pull off the banter between him and Goofball. It feels so natural, and it’s honestly impressive. Genuinely some of the best content on YouTube.

Seeing an actual photo of Max weirded me out, I wasn't expecting him to look so wellgroomed

Brain Dump is an incredibly unique spin on the traditional form of YouTube analysis content, a man coming to terms with his place in life.

I genuinely feel like max doesn’t get enough recognition for how insanely technically competent his animation is. Mixed media, smooth, clean, detailed, and everything looks lovingly illustrated too.  I mean, just look at Goofball’s I Dream of Genie impression, it’s so insanely well done.  It’s always so well done.

It’s so unfortunate he’s retired from it

It’s easily one of my favourite internet series. Not many like it, we should be grateful.

I like how Max is able to get the theme of his video across without being on the nose, rather using storytelling. It's what's sorely missing in modern mainstream media today.

too bad brain dump's never coming back. it was definitely one of my favorite online shows

I love how it has transitioned more and more into not just an examination of the human condition, but also one that is very open-ended and open to interpretation. I don’t think Brain Dump would be half as successful if it didn’t let viewers come to their own conclusions to the events presented

I feel like the characters in Brain Dumps represent the type of People Max Gilardi witnesses in his life.
Max Gilardi: His current more mature self IRL.
Goofball: Max's edgier self in the past and the type of people who He does not want to attract in his videos.
Burnbot: The he type of people who constantly judge him for his more problematic past and assumes he is still like that even if he tells them he has already changed.

The algorithm has a sick sense of humor today

What I like about the show is sometimes he'll be so off topic, you'll wonder "how is this about the movie in the title."  Then you realize "holy crap.  the way this episode plays out is a metaphor for what is wrong with the movie."  It's 5D chess writing.

I love Brain Dump I wish bald people were real

Man, watching this video is sure making me hungry for Grandma Brownie's Chocholate Chunker Wunker Bunkers, now with even bigger chunks of chocolate chunks.

I don't know why brain dump isn't more popular. It feels like an actual show

I literally just realized the parallels between the Minecraft episode and Arin Hanson's shift in content. Perfect satire honestly.

It’s about time someone made a commentary video on max. Hopefully he sees this video

The scene where Max strangles goofball in the latest episode sent chills down my spine.

I'm still upset YouTube ruined animation all those years back. It was a golden age and they completely ruined it. I love Max, he's a beacon of old world animations. It's wonderful

I've watched Max since Wacky Game Jokes 4 Kids, so even before his MLP series really made his channel take off. He's always been one of YT's most talented artists, and I admire how he's continued to strive to be better despite all his insecurities. Brain Dump is one of the funniest and insightful running series on Youtube, and it deserves more credit, I think.

No matter how crass or offensive some of Max's material becomes; it always feels like it's just trying to say something without hammering it in. The best kinds of art present themselves for you to view and determine without forcing you to see it a specific way.
