Я тоже дважды проезжал эти станции (некоторые - трижды, но точно уже не помню маршрут): впервые, когда транзитом через Беларусь в Петербург ехал, в 2013, купе, старые украинские вагоны. Тогда ещё в Беларуси было много "Машек" (тепловозы М62) на станциях, и они же как голова-тягач у электричек, что довольно забавно.

Второй раз - из Москвы в Минск в 2018, в плацкарте. Это уже был полностью белорусский поезд. Спустя минут 15-20 после отправления включили кондиционеры, проводница очень вежливая и отзывчивая была, любые вопросы решала сразу, любые обращения. По стоимости билета уже тогда даже плацкарт был примерно в одной цене с перелётом, я серьёзно. Но я всё равно решил ехать поездом, т.к., во-первых, просто люблю поезда, и во-вторых, на 2-3 часа полёта по полдня проводить в аэропортах, с кучей багажа тогда у меня, да ещё и добираться в один из аэропортов Мск из того района, где я жил, было жуть как неудобно и тоже долго. Не стоило оно того. А в поезде лежишь себе и отдыхаешь. Правда, онлайн купить билет тогда не вышло, сайт баговал или что-то такое, пришлось пилить на вокзал и по старинке в кассе приобретать. За что с меня дополнительно содрали +300 рублей за страховку, которая вроде как "по желанию", но по факту от неё невозможно отказаться, её тупо принудительно навязывают, и без этого билет не оформить (именно в обычных кассах). Такие вот махинации.

Последний раз - уже когда из Минска домой ехал, снова украинский поезд, и вот это уже был натурально страшный сарай на колёсах, весь дребезжащий, трясущийся, грохочущий. Всю дорогу держалось ощущение, что вагон вот-вот развалится на ходу. Зато на территории Беларуси можно было курить в нерабочем тамбуре) Хотя я не сторонник таких решений, и выйти на перекур на станции это не проблема.
И сама поездка тогда была ещё тем приключением. Дура-бабка, которая в Гомеле сорвала стоп-кран уже на полном ходу, потому что заболталась (!!!) с другой дурой-бабкой, которую провожала и не увидела, что поезд уже поехал 🤦🤦 Проводницы тоже были так себе. В плацкарте - натурально сборище аборигенов, особенно чей-то ребёнок прямо напротив моего спального места, у которого всю дорогу играла дебильная музыка из колонки, и ни на какие замечания его родители не реагировали вообще. Они, напротив, ещё и имели наглость возмущаться уже мне по поводу моего чемодана, который им, видите ли, "мешается" - тем, что на полке лежит. Без комментариев...
К слову, у меня на канале как раз это видео (не реклама, просто как иллюстрация к моим словам).
Ну и самое эпичное - это украинские пограничники. Это отдельный ад. Просто ад. Причём я несколько раз через это проходил, отчасти ещё до майдана, что показательно. То есть они всегда были такими... Нехорошими людьми, очень мягко выражаясь.

I found the service perfectly acceptable and incredibly cheap. Polite and clean. But I did miss it when they dropped playing Slavianka when approaching a station. At one time you could get a through train from Minsk to Riga, but the West stopped that and ripped up half the railways in Latvia and Estonia.

How to get a better 1st class. Need to go by premium (not exactly "premium" but better) train, like 1/2 "Belarus" Minsk-Moscow. It will be serve with non-alco drinks and snacks (need to pay separately) and breakfast will be included in the rate. Have a nice trip!

Однажды решил взять место в вагоне первого класса в поезде Минск-Санкт-Петербург. Цена на билет была космической, в 2 раза дороже 2 класса! Вагон был аккуратный, похожий как на видео. У меня лежали печенье и вафли на столике. Я подумал, круто, подарок, съел их, а утром мне сказали, что за них надо заплатить) Я заплатил, но это было очень странно)) Очень странный сервис.

Вагон этот произведён или на Крюковском вагоностроительном заводе в Кременчуге, или как-то по лицензии. Не самый лучший вагон СВ ибо приходилось в таком ехать, комфорта особого не ощутил, в сравнении с тверскими вагонами, в которых комфортнее было и тише. Как сейчас - не знаю, ездил три года назад.

I never thought Belarus would be such a beautiful country. The scenery is absolutely stunning!

As for your experience, I think that despite the lack of services, the constant buzzing sound, and the other inconveniences, the ticket price is still way cheaper. There are many countries in South Asia where they charge around €30–35 for a journey, and you literally get no bed, no pillows, no services, and, of course, all the jerks and constant buzzing sounds. 😂

Although I’m used to all of that, I’m just saying, the price you paid is honestly a big W for you, bro! 😄
