What did you guys think about the finale? Are you happy with how it all played out or would you change anything?

Still think it's nuts how Kinger helped build the thing and his ultimate purpose was basically just to be a plot device lmao

Man, when Goose said that Pomni and Jax were the main characters, I didn’t realize that meant at the cost of sidelining the others to this extent.

It kind of felt like they did all the Jax backstory stuff and then went "OH SH*T WE ARE ALMOST OUT OF RUNTIME" and then just rushed to an ending.

The way I would describe the ending is

"We are digital and this is our circus"

As a Ragatha fan, I’m sad that the character development between her and Pomni happens off screen only.

literally almost everyone was ready to comfort him, he did not do anything to deserve that. Pomni showed more empathy towards Jax than Ragatha or Kinger who lost his wife

Character driven show but all the characters are sacrificed for just one character 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔

I’m glad that this isn’t just me, the movie felt so centered around Jax instead of being about learning how to live in a stagnant life

It's funny how jax uses other characters to benefit himself both literally as well as metaphorically.
They don't exist to tell their own stories, they exist to tell Jax's

I feel like we definitely needed three more episodes focusing on the other characters. Specially Ragatha, she’s so interesting as a character imo

One thing I really dislike is how we know more about the characters through exposition. Ragatha has to state she has mommy issues, Pomni has to state Ragatha is her best friend, Kinger exposition dumps about C&A, Caine’s whole crashout explaining his feelings. It’s all told and never shown and that really hurts the character dynamics.

“It’s a character focussed show”
“Can we get a focus on zooble, gangle, or ragatha?”
“UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”

I feel Caine should have been revealed to be watching Pomni in Jax's mindscape to tie everything together and make Caine self reflect more, rather than him just suddenly regretting everything after being deleted.

I feel like it would have made more sense for Caine to have been the second main character instead of Jax tbh. If the finale temporarily sidelined everyone else for his story, it would describe a lot abt the lore of the show and would feel less random.

I feel bad for Zooble fans, Zooble never got an episode dedicated to them.

I think the reason it felt like Caine had the best character development in the show (rushed redemption aside) was because he had the most connection to the premise in that he created the entire setting and was more proactive in his goals than the other characters. Aside from Kinger, how does the cast's existence affect the setting? It doesn't, they didn't even try to do anything to change it or find a cheat to escaping and only Kinger knew how to take advantage of being able to conjure while the circus was still around. However, that brings up the issue that he couldn't be that helpful because, as one of Caine's original programmers, he knew too much and had to be written out most of the time to keep the plot twists.

No matter how much I love this show and the episodes, it definitely shifted to focus on Jax. I wished for a bit more screentime on the others, but yk…

So much of the story felt like it was told to us. So called "filler" episodes would serve a purpose to SHOW those things to us. Jax's confession felt like a lore dump, even the visuals we got to see were things we were told explicitly in a single scene.

"We've all done terrible things" There is literally everyone who might have said something slightly mean vs the rabbit who threw someone into a deep fryer for the lols
