Another typical 2016 video: pretty long wades with just a take or two to show for and no "jumps" or fast forwards (that I started using in 2017). Grayling hooked at 11:02 and 36:34, a decent trout at 44:16 and then starting at 46:12 - a half dozen or so smaller ones.

The mountain streams that I have fished hold plenty of small trout and I've caught a few bigger ones in the pools below a waterfall. Like you said, they love well oxygenated water.

uncut fishing try using mepps 00 and very light line about 4lb is fine and you will catch lots more trout and grayling

Great vids pal im just starting out spinning, ive had 3 wild browns but im still not sure what im doing yet lol
p.s love your uncut vids as it pisses me off when you watch a vid and they catch with 1st cast and so on and so on as you say its not just about catching.Tight Lines pal hope to learn some stuff from your vids.

Funny, I just got myself the EXACT same type of rod this winter for next trout season, not exactly a typical rig it seams. Was thinking it would be my go to rod for the larger rivers and lakes but now you have me thinking I should give it a go in the tight spots too (think I'll still bring along the 6 foot light rig just in case). How is this rod for throwing the lighter stuff, say a mepps #1 or #2, does the fast action become a problem to load up the cast or does the length componsate? Anyways, great videos to get the trout addict through those long wither nights!
