Id love to hear one where the mocked person makes it clear to every person who mocked them just how stupid they'd been and why should I help you now?? And then constantly mock them for the rest of the story, while keeping them alive because they obviously couldn't...

My biggest issue is, MC always has this moment where theyre a bad guy and the 1 female character that never listens to MC, who carries every plan and supply, knows best.

IMHO in a SHTF situation everything that is healthy becomes a food source..🤔🤨

I wish these stores would include the prepared person leaving everyone and go to safety.

These stories almost uniformly hinge on external strangers taken in and the ethical/moral consequences when society as we know it collapses and everyone is trying to survive.  I never make fun of any preppers because you never know when a disaster can hit and they are the only ones not panic buying/acting.  People are so innately trained to "watch the news" for instructions when someone with actual information is urging them to act.  No matter HOW THEY PREP they are always found...they could have a bunker fully stocked for years 600 feet down and someone ALWAYS discovers them.

Good story.  I admit while my instincts are if in one of these scenarios is to bunker in wild country and live off the land my physical limitations will no longer allow me to do anything more than to shelter in place as best I can and if the crisis lasts long enough to just be ok with going onto the next world.

OMG his family sucks, his wife sucks, his daughter is like his wife so she sucks, his father sucks...good grief. He was better off going at it alone because his family sucks. 🫤 They keep questioning him with "what ifs" and they are so negative. And then the strangers came with nothing and they had the nerve to have opinions how things were😬Also they were just sleeping out in the open???

This story seems determined to prove me right about the difference between preppers and survivalists.  Preppers hinge all of their plans against a finite supply of resources that need to be watched, guarded, and rationed until depletion and then they are boned because they only planned to outlast the crisis by a few weeks or a few months and have no idea what to do when the end of the world doesn’t resolve itself after they’ve eaten the last can of beans.

I agree with most of what happened here. Whatbi dont agree with and am disappointed with is a prepper/survivalist with just 1 weapon. Find me a person like that with 1 weapon, that person doesnt exist. Sheesh

All these stories are the same. Someone sees it coming and everyone makes fun of them. When it hits everyone blames them.
Get your ass in the truck/car, whatever STFU and do as your told.
And then allow someone into your structure/bunker/camp and they start resenting you. Oh but they have kids. You can make kids starve. But they come in with no supplies, eat your food. What are you going to tell your kids when they get hungry?
