Education doesn't just mean attending an expensive University for 4+ years. I am a trade school graduate. Trade schools are a fraction of the cost and result in higher paying careers. Don't be discouraged. In the United States we are indoctrinated to believe there is only one form of education. Trade schools seem to be extremely beneficial and teach actual skills. Notice Elder Anderson is saying "education." It's up to you the path you take. Don't let society tell you there is only one way to get educated. ❤

Sometimes we need to reeducate our desires, or repent.

"How are we educating our righteous desires?"
Good question!

“The most important direction we receive comes from God” I love that I can always trust the direction I receive from the Lord in the temple ❤ Jesus always leads me exactly where I need to be

27:23 Covenants that we make in the Holy Endowment in the temple. Those 5 Covenants are stated in the general handbook and are available for you to read: 1)Law of obedience, 2)Law of sacrifice, 3)Law of the gospel of Jesus Christ, 4)Law of chastity, 5)Law of consecration....The Lord knows your strengths and weaknesses.... He knows your private struggles and He knows your faith....Nothing about you is a mystery or surprise to Him.

I’ve listened to this many times now over the last year and each time I learn something new and have a better perspective of how to apply this to me.  Best message ever.

Man! I never thought of educating desires. Elder Andersen has opened the scriptures, my mind, my heart and yes, my desires.

😊 LET US ALLIGN OUR WILL
     TO THE WILL OF OUR
     HEAVENLY FATHER 💛

I am so grateful for being able to listen to these words spoken by Heavenly Father's messenger. We are blessed to have technology available to listen to past messages. I have often felt that certain talks were guided my way because I needed their help in my life. So, I thank Heavenly Father afterwards for His help.😊

Another wonderful, spirit filled, thought provoking, and inspiring lesson from Elder Neil L. Anderson. I'm gratefully full of the Spirit of God feeling peace, love, and charity. Thank you.

Nice talk. I liked the part about not being able to surprise God and the challenge of the ordinariness of life.

Inspired words, thank you for increasing my "desire" to live the gospel more wholeheartedly.

I am grateful to have heard this beautiful talk. This message is needed as we turn our focus from the world. ❤️

This is a VERY powerful message, that it is through educating our thoughts we learn to control our desires.  Thank you for another inspiring message Elder Anderson.

What a precious testimony.  Thank you Elder Andersen. ❤️

So inspiring! Thanks!

I couldn't love this more. Thank you Elder Anderson.

I am grateful for this speech by Elder Anderson. I love it ❤

Excellent talk! If you are looking for an affordable, traditional education that helps you learn how to think and articulate your beliefs in a powerful and respectful manner, consider MOUNT LIBERTY COLLEGE in Utah. My oldest daughter is attending and loves all her classes! Her growth and maturity is thrilling to witness! When the rest of my children are raised, I hope to take some classes at Mount Liberty. You can take classes in person or online.
