Are Yoshi games made for babies? (Also, I meant to add "3DS" for the Yoshi's Crafted World slide... my bad... just pretend it says "Switch")

I swear Yoshi's Story is the most misunderstood game ever made. Almost nobody gets it and plays it correctly. You are not supposed to play it once through 6 pages and eat every single fruit you come across. Well you totally can, but you would be missing out of the complete experience. You are supposed to play it multiple times for checking out the other levels, trying to find the hearts in each of them and going for a higher score.

Also, if you want a REAL challenge, and I mean a frustratingly DIFFICULT challenge, try to eat only melons in every level. You will notice that the level design for each stage was made around the 30 melons that are in every level. Do that and see if you still think Yoshi's Story is for babies (it is, but for very extreme babies).

Going for 100% in any Yoshi game is the most miserable experience no baby deserves that

yoshi games have a vibe that no other platformer can match and idk what it is

As someone who has played Yoshis Safari I can tell you that it is NOT for babies. It’s actually a very fun game that gets surprisingly difficult the further you get. If you can manage to play it I’d highly recommend it.

crafted world gets tough in the later stages. I really enjoyed the game and I'm over 40!

You forgot to mention that you can make your own Yoshi skins in the 3ds version of wooly world! That makes it better than the Wii U version!

You can’t rate Yoshi Story 7/10 babies when you haven’t completed THE MELON CHALLENGE

25 seconds, I wonder how how he burns his house down?

Discovery doesn't have an age
And Yoshi is all about learning new quirks

12:39 wasn't it the game cartridge that had the gyro sensors inside? It had to be calibrated😅

yoshi's safari uses a weapon like controller. how is that "more baby" than a game called YOSHI'S COOKIE?

27:21 Yoshis crafted world was switch not 3DS 😭

Here to stan for Crafted World lol. While I got my start on the original SNES Mario (and DKC), Yoshi has always held a special place in my heart (and on a lot of my clothes lol).

So after giving up gaming post-N64 to focus on other things, I re-entered during the worldwide illness thingy with a Switch purchase. I decided that my first game back had to be a Yoshi game, and Woolly World wasn't available so I immediately picked up Crafted World and fell right back in love with gaming.

I loved it's quirky, open diorama-type style with the creative front-facing and behind-the-scenes views, the utter cuteness, and the difficulty level was right what I needed at the time (tho I did play on the hardest setting). It was the perfect primer to continue on into Ori, Dead Cells, and Hades (all of which would have been completely overwhelming for me on a first play back).

So Yoshi's Crafted World really met the moment for me and cemented him as my all-time favorite nintendo character.

I was focused on your Yoshi shirt the whole time. I love it and want it!

I'm 54 and got my first NES in 87 when I was 16. I somehow ended up with Yoshi's Cookie back then. 😊 I now have Every single Yoshi game up to the Wii U and 3ds XL's. Yoshi's Wooly World for my Wii U and 3ds XL's is my favorite game. Yoshi on DS is my second favorite 😊

I don’t care what anyone says I actually love this game it’s definitely not a babies game cause some parts is actually challenging not too hard but challenging so my opinion it’s a game for everyone

The main thing I took for Yoshi platformers is that they are easy to finish the story, but hard to complete the game, similar to later Kirby games.

Tetris Attack deserves a mention.  No, it doesn't have Yoshi's name on it, but it does feature him as the main character, along with a cast entirely of characters from Yoshi's Island

Plus, it's really damn good..

Just like Kirby games, Yoshi games can offer challenge
