Chichen Itza is a must visit, it's a 2 hour bus ride but well worth a visit.
Last time when we were there we went on a day trip to Tulum archeology site, which was very interesting, then onto an underground cenote, which was amazing.
The 3rd stop was at Akumal bay, where we taken out by boat and jumped into the ocean to swim with the Turtles and our final stop was on a remote part of the beach, where we had some fantastic mexican food.
Cant wait to go back.
