"this is what I wanna sing" goal archived

When I heard just The Emptiness Machine, I was like "Hmm, okay, so this is the new singer, not bad". I had no strong opinions on her. But once I heard her on more songs and the album as a whole, I was sold on her. She's perfect for Linkin Park. Great days ahead.

She is incredible. She can sing her freaking heart out

Happy she is with Linkin Park now. From Zero is such a great Album and she is a natural fit. The Band has an amazing  future in store with her

I had the exact same experience but with Crawling. Changed me forever.

For me was Breaking the Habit and Numb that song really Changed me forever...

I'm sure Chester Bennington is looking down from heaven and he is pleased that they kept Linkin Park going

They both seem so, for lack of a better term, normal sitting there chatting. But then on stage, they're fucking beasts! I laughed when she said she had to realize that not everyone could sing like her. Nope. Almost no one can sing like her.

I have a similar experience. That outlet for my anger I couldn’t express anywhere else.. all the shit I went through.. I channeled that into my music I made in my band as well, I wrote a song that is soooo angry and I screamed the entire thing. LP was my inspiration and have been one of my top favorite bands since that time. ❤

I was 11 when I first heard Linkin Park!  I think my first songs were In the End and Crawling!

This is amazing! So glad they're back! Emily is legit!

dude, i had the same experience as well. but listening to From The Inside makes me wanna scream!

She’s already good, and she’ll only get better with time as her confidence and relationship with the band grows. People that don’t like her for one don’t understand that female vocalists can now scream just was well as their male counterparts and convey the same angst (spiritbox, poppy, just to name a couple) and two; linkin park was getting stale before Chester died, I mean sure 2 songs that were good in the later days with Chester, but that was it…they were still selling out venues, but people were going to tear the old stuff. She’s going to give life to the band, help them make some new sounds, and Mike is still there, and he’s the main mastermind behind the music anyway. No disrespect to Chester (rip).

One Step Closer was the start for me also. I was hooked and have been a LP fan ever since. So glad they are back, Emily is a great fit!

Emily Armstrong wow❤

Oh she just like me fr 😭

She is wat Linkin Park needed after Chester, am 72 i love rock the stones zeppelin who ,etc but from the 90 and 2000 Linkin Park was a favorit of mine becaus the music is made by themself  and now after Chester Mike take Emily as lead so my god its magic

Yo it was wild, I remember my first intro to this genre being black and young, it was Papa Roach Last Resort, because it came in so hard black people vibed with it, then Crawling came out of nowhere, the first linkn park song I heard, and I was hooked... We was like, this whole time rock sounded like this?  It was the summer after my 8th grade year 2000 I believe... Man its like we grew up with this band, and to now see and hear emily, shes awesome and the sound can expand even more now.

Sang from the soul

The first four songs i heard that introduced me to LP was what i've done,in the end, numb and figure...
