I don't recall misogyny being a symptom of neurodivergence.

People need to stop giving men and boys a "get out of jail free" neurodivergence card. I have ADHD and mental illness, my BFF is autistic, it's not an excuse.

Why is neurodivergence an excuse for misogyny? Even if he was. No.

That young man is sooo good. I'm proud of him. The belittling/mocking of horrible opinions is way better at discouraging that mentality than logically dismantling them, and continuing the relationship to show that growth is possible is the right move. Good kid.

Another thing - whenever a man says or behaves like a misogynist, the first thing people will jump in with "but how about his mental health" or "but is he neurodivergent". I've never, ever seen this treatment extended to a woman who is struggling. With women and girls, it's always "but what did she do to provoke it though".

Lmaooo I was just watching this on Tok and when the camera turned and I saw the look on his face🤣🤣🤣🤣 You can tell he was mortified and embarrassed. As he should. Good on those guys for calling him out publicly.

This reminds me of a game my friend introduced me to called Tellem.  If you say something terrible about a person in public to your friends, they will say “tell ‘em”.  The challenge is to repeat what you said to their face.  Makes you think twice about how you talk about people real fast.

When men don't hold other men accountable, it's because they agree and don't see anything wrong.

Since men say that ish for the head pats of men, the only way it will stop is if other dudes, like this young man, not only don't give them praise but give them negative social consequences instead. This is a masterclass how to. And it ain't hard,  it just requires courage. If other men won't do this, that is a reflection of their lack of morals and decency.

Even if he was on the spectrum it doesn’t excuse saying extremely gross things about people. Especially a specific group of women
