That moment where, completely gassed, against the fence, he spat blood from his mouth, mouthed "fuck you" then landed a monster shot is one of my all time fave moments from any fighter.

Say what you want about Rockhold, at his peak he was a true champion. And he went out on his shield like a true warrior

I once met Luke Rockhold at an Erewhon, a bougie grocery store in Los Angeles. I reacted to seeing him very casually, which I feel he appreciated. I didn’t make a spectacle of it.

I introduced myself and said I was a fan. He shook my hand and we spoke for like a minute.  He seemed very shy but overall friendly.

I politely asked for a picture to which he said  “ the lighting is better over here. Let’s move”. afterwards, I say my final goodbye and he awkwardly pulls me in and gives me a side hug.

If that is not a quintessential, Luke Rockhold experience, I don’t know what is 🤣

I also share a birthday with him, which is pretty neat .

I'll always respect a guy like Rockhold because he had the most to lose in every fight he stepped into - His looks.

Luke going balls out in the last round of that Paulo Costa fight is in serious consideration for my favorite MMA moment😂.

Luke Rockhold is one legend we didnt appreciate untill he was gone

He was underrated af

“I’m fucking old.” Really hits hard when you’re around Luke’s age.

One of the best quastion mark kick ever

Rockhold’s most overlooked skill set has always been his grappling. In his losses, he only lost in the striking, no one ever managed to outgrapple him, top wrestlers like Weidman got mauled by him and he submitted Bisping with ease in the first fight. After that, no one dared go to the ground with him. Not even Olympic medalists like Yoel Romero.

Someone remind Bisping it’s still 1-1 lmao and that Luke actually had the courage to face Yoel Romero instead of ducking him.

Honestly a hugely underrated career! Before TRT juiced to the gills Vitor head kicked him he had a great chin. Still won a UFC title and had a very well rounded MMA game.

Wish we coulda got that Silva vs Rockhold fight.

nice to see luke finally get his flowers by mma fans after being one of the most hated on fighters the last 4 years of his carrer
his last send off was unforgettable

Luke Rockhold has received innumerable number of stirke in his career, some KO'd him out cold.
But none would be as devastating as Bisping's "Shut the Fuck up"

Looking at Costa. Screaming FU and landing that punch was gangster.

People forget man

Don’t feel bad for Rockhold but he’s never outliving “Conceive, believe, achieve!” 😂

Weidman underestimated rockhold then rockhold underestimated bisping and they were never the same after those losses

He’s basically from my hometown. I always rooted for him and was kind of surprised that people hated him so much. But I did understand that the cockiness got a little out of hand. I’m glad in his last fight he won back a lot of fans.

30:43 I'm not crying. My eyeballs is sweaty. Great Documentary! You did it again.
