I’m originally from Warwick Rhode Island 😉 but now live in Bath, England! You’ll have to come over and visit A Yarn Story when you’re here! Jen R and I can be your tour guides.

Also have the same experience with Night Shades - I have a skein and a half left over from my last project which I had bought specifically for a project that called for it!

Blue Island, IL currently working on a sock (always one on the needles), a ripple camisole for my granddaughter , a shadow cable baby blanket for a new winter baby, and a Dead Easy Tee, which I’m making into a sweater. I love the Maisie sweater. All you ladies have beautiful knits.

Jen, I was also at the Junction Fiber Mill tour you attended. I thought you looked familiar but it wasn't until I got back to my car that I realized I recognized you from your podcast. You were recognized in the wild! I think that makes you a knitting celebrity. I purchased some Heliotrope Making Tracks yarn as well and will be making a Grid Gambit.

Enjoying your podcast. Watching from RI. Old knitting guild member, who often runs into you at the festival. A few Rhinebeck recommendations 1) If you want a souvenir item order ahead, otherwise the lines are long and they often run out of the souvenir bag for the year (preorder is usually around this time) 2) I recommend going Sunday if you don’t like crowds or want a more leisurely pace. 3) There are several yarn stores in the area that usually have events during the weekend as well: Perfect Blend in Saugerties, Fab Yarn in Tivoli, Yarn Farm in Kingston, Countrywool in Hudson and Morehouse Farms in Red Hook.

Love your podcast and projects! I’m in the Richmond, VA area. My closest LYS is Dances With Wool, but I also go to Center of the Yarniverse and The Knitting Bee. I just finished the Anemoia shawl using La Bien Aimee Wensley Worsted and my FDF Sock Squad socks for August. Now I am going to cast on the Antipodes sweater as a buddy knit with a friend. Neither of us are going to Rhinebeck so we don’t have a deadline to finish the sweater. I hope to go to Rhinebeck next year so I love all your tips! Happy Knitting!
