They were the most influential figures of the Iron Age, a mysterious elite who served as judges, astronomers, and healers. Yet, beneath their sophisticated understanding of mathematics and the stars lay a dark reality of ritualistic human sacrifice. In this documentary, we journey from the sacred groves of Germany to the peat bogs of Ireland to uncover the true identity of the Druids. Through exclusive archaeological finds, including the "Bog Bodies" of fallen kings and the reconstructed face of an ancient priest, we examine how these "masterminds of the ancient world" governed through both divine knowledge and brutal power before disappearing into the mists of history.
