Thank you so much for having me voice act as the Weaver’s True Voice! It was an absolute pleasure, made even better by the fact I’ve been a fan of your videos for a few years- So thank you for the new video to watch too, your work is always phenomenal!

"I'm going to work on something shorter"

proceeds to make a nearly 5 hour breakdown of games that collectively take roughly 2-3  hours to beat

I think it’s important to note that a good reason to not label it is that her experiences can apply to MANY things. I have a mix of adhd and autism and i relate to the main character in just as many ways. By not labels my it lets anyone who has symptoms like this you can relate

Literally one of my favorite things on YouTube is a 5 hour video on something I don't know about

Certified OCD haver, and oh boy this is Too Relatable, down to the "walking home tweaking out" parts. Right about when this game came out I was in the middle of a 7 year span of aggressive psychiatric medication trials, living in Chicago without a car (bad move) so I had to walk everywhere (or take the L). The thing about trialing medication is that you really do have to give it at least a month to see if it's going to even out and work, barring like a violent allergic reaction. I'd walk to the supermarket to get my meds refilled about every week, strung out of my mind on chemicals that weren't right for me, arguing with the chorus of mental terrorists that keep insisting I'm going to die of a drone strike if I don't flex all my leg muscles right now. It's not the lowest I've ever been by far, but my God was I sick. It's funny to see someone else's experience with that fucked up part of their life, not haha funny, but so much of what happens in bag of milk 1 is verbatim shit that ive said or thought that I find myself laughing. I did not think I was going to have this much sympathy for a game that seemed a little "tumblr guro "mental illness core", ykwim. It's an honest depiction, made in good faith and it fucking hits.

did mr peacock just teased slay the princess analysis

I like your 'Chaos Brain!' mantra, it's better than my current one so I'm adopting it and you can't stop me. Thanks again for your uniquely meaty prose and ultra dense connectivity. My brain fizzes every time I see that whiteboard. May all good things come to you and those who love you.

Rubbing my hands together like a fly 🪰

Thank you so much for having me as your animator! Time to watch PEAK!!!!

About, putting Meluka "in a state that helps the world deal with Meluka," I feel the need to mention that if a disorder is diagnosed as "high-functioning," it doesn't mean the affliction is easy to deal with, it means the afflicted is easy for everyone else to deal with. Intentionally or not, the label backhandedly puts the pressure of looking/acting "normal" fully back on to you.

everyone say "thank you floppy whiteboardsman"

Milk could also be a reference to the fact that with some medications that can cause serotonin syndrome, you cannot take them soon after or with milk and/or aged dairy products. Specifically MAOI inhibitors. Usually they're not considered unless SSRIs and SNRIs are not effective for easing symptoms

I kinda understand the not naming of the diagnos(es). A diagnosis of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder in one individual results in the stereotypical “Must Put Everything In Its Place And Must Be Fanatically Pristinely Clean” set of behaviors. Another individual might have grotesque and horrifying thoughts of car accidents where they are the ones at fault if they try to drive a car on a major road, completely out of the blue and unprompted, but it happens like clockwork the moment the trigger appears. A third person could have a ridiculous desire to take a hair or two off of every person they meet, and they refuse to consider a person a friend or even acquaintance of theirs unless they relent and let them yank a hair off their head (at least one strand, and only once). A fourth person can simply have an internal monologue that attempts to force them to “be a good kid” by doing a set of rituals, and causes irritable bowel syndrome if it doesn’t get its way due to the anxiety caused by not doing the rituals.

The same diagnosis can manifest in each individual in a unique way. To truly diagnose a condition requires thoughtful work with licensed psychologists and psychiatrists who observe over a period of time to try and tease out what’s really going on under the unique set of behaviors and lived experiences of each individual. To truly understand the diagnosis, you HAVE to understand the person first, and only after truly knowing them for a while can you start to understand what’s actually going on and offer proper help.

So asking to not name the diagnos(es)? Absolutely the right call, and a perfectly reasonable request. And also… very human. Malukah is asking us to truly hear HER, not some arbitrary label for whatever psychiatric condition she may share with others who have the same label but completely different manifested behaviors from the same label. Understand the truth before you even try to pronounce judgment. Hear the person out, for a label is insufficient to truly understand THEM.

I'm cancelling my circumcision to watch this.

THIS IS THE ONLY OTHER SERIES IVE BEEN ASKING FOR FROM YOU MAN. RUSTY LAKE THEN THIS. MY LIFE IS COMPLETE I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH THIS
