Aesop's Fable regarding the golden goose.

Excellent analysis . Thank you!

Well explained. Thank you for this.

Watching from Phuket Thailand 🇹🇭

From Malaysia. Thank you.

Except what happens when even the Chinese tourists stop coming in great numbers. China is not doing well economically, especially young adults are suffering.

Thailand had been overpriced! They keep upping prices until it is not viable for foreigners to travel to Thailand anymore.

I was hit for 200 bh for a beer . This is bs . I can get a beer in far wealthier spain for e1•50

For a 6 weeks stay you can just apply for a tourist visa... Yes more hassle, but possible.

Welcome to Thailand.  :face-red-heart-shape:

Tuning in from Norway. Never been to Thailand. Pondering whether or not to visit. Seems like there’s many pitfalls. I keep thinking I should have a local to guide me, to avoid getting in trouble.

Prices have NOT gone.down at all! If anything they have gone up. This because less people have to pay for the fixed costs

From koh Phangan. Looks like overall sentiment is considerably down. I could see low moral and very less tourists. Even markets are empty. Macro is deserted. No queues like before. How things will move in future is scary

I live in Siracha Chonburi but got the feeling the Thai Government had plans to Screw Foreners like me from England but bought a 52ft Catamaran so l could say goodbye Thailand, if needs be.

I agree. The Chinese don't bring in much money as people think. They get on busses and go to the same places. Stores & markets. That is not helping the economy. Just helps the small individual predetermined location.
I think the Thai hospitality commission should see your videos.
Thanks

Self-inflicted wound

In the Philippines it is primarily Chinese then Korean tourists. They have started catering to the developed less. Some businesses actually post no western while providing discounts to the asian visitors and charging higher than normal rates to Americans. The private investments into Philippines is significantly higher by asian counteries than the west.

Agree

The first reason is not correct. The flight tickets to Vietnam are the same prices  as to Thailand. To Vietnam the price is not the problem?

Isn't it kind of condescending to nag about hitting the like button? After all, YouTube has been around for around 20 years ....
