This would be a good “False termination” case.

Wiggins insulation did that to me, saw me talking to another company so they fired me. They went bankrupt within the year !

Don't let others burn the bridge and then rebuild it to help them.  When they do you wrong they're on their own, since corporations rarely care about you.

Last place I worked at while in the Marines I told my civilian managers that if they were the manager on duty and they needed to made a decision and I was not there, to make it and let me know later.  Told them I would not yell at them write them up or fire them (unless the did something illegal ). A couple of times I told the manger what I would done differently and why but also told them they did the right thing by making a desicion

Good story. Moves fast. Not too technical.

Driving Indiana interstates in the 1960s and '70s you saw farmland. Today, for large stretches of interstate you drive down a corridor of trees. At first they mowed up to the fences on the boundary of the highways. Then, over time they cut back and trees started growing. Farmers and county highway crews stopped removing trees adjacent to those fences. And now, the views of farmland in many places are gone.

Nice story, good listen, but the ending prompted this reply. Thanks
