We finally got back out on the water for some crabbing after a massive storm kept us off the bay for a solid week. It is officially the beginning of the end of the season so we are hauling in a bunch of our crab pots to bring home and wash. The weather made things unpredictable but we still managed to pull in some good crabs and even found a crazy skillet fish in the traps. Make sure to check out the store to grab some apparel and get your entries in for our massive boat giveaway.

Bitter sweet for me to see the season end I watch both channels but the crabbing has always been where it’s at for me so I just wanted to thank you for creating Luke Crabs

Luke I definitely agree you can't trust the fall weather! I'm a produce farmer and yesterday we knew there was a cold front going to blow through midday and none of the forecast made it sound like a bad one. I had 1/2 bushel boxes and full bushel boxes of produce scattered out across the fields and all the empty boxes got caught in the 60-70mph gusts and blew all over the place. After a brief downpour it became sunny and windy but we're at the tail end of the growing season and it's been a long season between cold spring, drought, and I can't wait for thanksgiving to get here and then I'll just have to take care of the cow's and goats and work in the shop until next spring.

How did AJ get hurt? I musta missed it. What else does the crew do for work when they're not crabbing?
Another thumbs up for adding the Luke Crabs channel.

Nice day for sure out there. I was thinking about some of your first videos I saw years ago. So happy for all your success and where you are now. Hope the season closes out on a high note for you.

All the best to your lovely wife, the crew, John and all the others I don't know...sorry fella's. But blessing to you also. I hope all of you are used as a inspiration to others to get out there and do it.

You should build a pressure washing tunnel for the crab pots. Make a way to slide then through maybe under a spinning surface cleaner.

That black ford sounds like it can pull a house off the foundation. Man I’ve got to get me an older diesel truck.

Meanwhile it’s been warm and dry as a bone out here in California. Wish we could take some of that rain off your hands!

What do Tadpole and AJ do when the crabbing season ends for them?

@70FORE 1 day ago

That skillet fish was pretty cool. I could see you making a crabbing shirt that is based off of being “stuck” on crabbing. Haha love the videos Luke and can’t wait to see the desperado completed.
