Everything is so beautiful!! I'm loving the autumn vibe. Thank you for sharing them!

You’re right, river birch with ASB is fabulous!
Your sandstone plain on the spoon rest is much more shiny than when I’ve used it 🤷🏻‍♀️
Great kiln opening… thanks for sharing 🎉

Oooo love the combo!

I just love your kiln openings!  There is always items in there that I love and want to try.  The chaos glaze was beautiful and I have Coyote Red Gold but haven't used it yet so I am looking forward to trying.

I agree red gold is one of my favorite coyote glazes especially for fall. I use it on leaf trays.  Also burning embers is gorgeous.  Your chaos pieces are cute, probably not trying it at this time. But maybe in the future. The pumpkins are always adorable. I bet the color gets more orange as that piece cools.

Great opening, thanks for sharing. I love the chaos pieces, and agree with you about the Albany slip brown.

Can you show us how you do the chaos technique?

Hello! I'm Valeri from upstate NY, near Binghamton. I usually follow fiber spinning, crochet & knitting channels, but I do follow Pottery To The People. I'm not a potter but love it very much. Somehow your videos were suggested in my feed and can I just say I LOVE YOUR GLAZING! I want to buy all the things. I probably can't afford more than  one thing but they are so beautiful. I was thinking one of the tiny bowls would be great to use for a base in supported spindle spinning. Right now I use a small malachite bowl. On the sides and insides of your bowls I see so many pictures and patterns. I could just get lost in them. And all the pumpkins from the last two videos are chef's kiss. The bird box, even with a little chip or whatever, beautiful. The bowl with the peacock feathers on the outside around 11 minutes, beautiful. The one at 13 minutes with all of the colors, beautiful. It reminds me of an autumn night, foggy with the bat on the side. I think there was one from the last video where it looked like silhouettes of four or five people on the inside of the bowl? Maybe the same one or a different one looked like a desert mesa on the side. Just WOW! This is my birthday month & I overspent my budget on fiber (merino & bison fiber blend from a small homestead in Montana) & a new sunflower project bag from Wales, but next month I'd like to bother you for a purchase or two, depending on the stock you have left. You do exquisite work! Hugs to you and your little partner. It's been a long minute since I had my helper underfoot. She's 36 now. Hugs :virtualhug:

Completely in LOVE with that chaos bowls….have you ever made video showing how you make them? If not, would you please show us how it’s done ? 🙂

Great unload. Beautiful pieces. I have seen red gold on a couple of unloads lately and the have been beautiful.  My experiences have been a much more matt finish with a lot of darknrusty red showing

Hey Karlyn, thanks for your info on the Red Gold and the Plainsman Clay.  I have that glaze on a 340 ornament right now to test.  I hope it goes well.  I absolutely love the glaze!

Love the chaos glazing.  I saw someone on insta that is doing something like that.  I saved the post because I need to try it.  It looks fantastic.

Great kiln unload.  Thanks again!

River Birch is a fave for sure!

I had not heard of chaos glazing, what is the idea behind it? Thanks for always sharing your combos and beautiful creations!

Chaos glazing??? Oooh that moonscape is really interesting! I love the river birch with asb as well. Aaaw that cute little box. Oh no. I was taught to just use a wooden spoon to open lidded pots. It just needs a little vibration. Asb and sandstone are just stunning!! Have you tried micropearl over sandstone? Oh my gosh I absolutely loooove it. How have I not heard of chaos glazing?? What the heck? That first bowl is amaaaaazing.  Wow. Oh my gosh the second one!! Ooooh. How funny. It’s like where’s Waldo when you hear pinging!! It drives me crazy. As long as your clay is fully vitrified it won’t leak. What an amazing kiln load!! Best of luck at your shows!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
