We never stopped hating them we just have to accept this is how the game is now

Short Answer: No

Even if heroes were implemented properly and not with greed. They still make champions obsolete and not unique, and over complicated gameplay loop

I think Jynxzi explained it pretty well. Evos can be predicted, and you can prepare for them since they work with cycles and a passive ability. So skilled players can predict when a evo is gonna be played and active. As with heroes is mainly just a constant mind game since they don't have cycles and can have do something every second they are on the field.

One of the reasons is the starter heroes were not just statistically broken but actually gamebreaking mechanics that were overtuned as well

I prefer heroes that are cards which we can easily upgrade over champions that are much harder to upgrade

And they're now so much more balanced than they were before, except for the newly released ones to force people to buy them.

honestly they grew on me, i really want them to stay. the abilities are pretty cool, but that doesnt mean the concept itself isn't flawed, and we definitely need some sort of rework or make heroes more expensive than their counterparts or something like that.

the problem with heros other than being money grab is the way they force you to play against them like normally a barb barrel isnt that dangerous but with his hero you have to keep spending elixir because of that probability of him pressing that ability and getting potentially game winning damage in higher medals on uc theres also the valk and many others , thats the problem with heros and they are available EVERY time you put the card down unlike evos.

its begrudging acceptance that we can't do anything, never can

This was “corruption is bad if I am not involved” type of hate

every time they release a hero i quit for like a week or two until they emergency nerf it and im tired of doing that

The one thing I feel like could kind of balance heroes is if the hero form reduced some stats so that the value would come from the ability, not as much as the base card

A lot of hero’s could’ve been new champions. Like the tomb stone which in my opinion the only cool hero since it’s basically a new card. The other ones are just press a button for an op attack for a few seconds

Probably because we've accepted that supercell aren't going to remove them so we just adapt to them but they're much more balanced. Its like that one quote: "If you cant beat them, join them".

They are a lot better now compared to when they released we get them more often, they are easier to get and some of them have a bit more interesting mechanics, but still I find we should have not gotten them

There just aren't enough people to care anymore

Well I guess they're alright, they're not that crazy op, I mean of course in the right situation you probably just lose your tower or over commit and lose the game, but it's kinda hard to get that right situation.

But the one thing that I REALLY hate heroes for is I don't know whether my opponent will press that ability button or not,  and now I have to over commit or just pray and hope he doesnt

i need a short to watch 60 times in a row

So I lowkey have a hot take: essentially what needs to happen: supercell needs to make cards that are very similar to existing troops and buildings just to give choice and then they can give evos and heroes
