🔎 On October 30, 1979, the body of Robert Boulin, Minister of Labor under President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, was found lifeless in a pond in the Yvelines region. Before any investigation, the authorities and state television insisted that he had "committed suicide" by throwing himself into 50 cm of water. But several pieces of physical evidence would soon demonstrate that this highly respected Gaullist, who was preparing to denounce the corruption of the Chirac clan (then head of the RPR party), was in fact the victim of murder. Revelations about the biggest political scandal of the Fifth Republic.
