Sea glass may seem like trash to some, but there's a whole community of connoisseurs of these brightly colored, polished shards of bottles and other vessels around the world. These are not only collectors but also a diverse group of handmade artists. Ukrainian artist Ekaterina Shelygina from Odessa has begun making sea glass not only for accessories but also for intricate Tiffany-style stained glass. Her amazing sculptures and interior design pieces have traveled to several continents and now adorn the streets of Odessa.
