More Thai martial arts needs to be in the spotlight. Thailand has a rich pedigree for warrior art's. Muay Letrit used in real self-defense would do a lot of damage depending on the user. Unlike muay thai? Art defense becomes its offense, and every defensive counter is responded with a counter offensive. Art very unique, thank you for bringing it too the spotlight.

Thank you Sylvie for all the awesome content, you and a few other you-tubers have made an extremely large impact on my life for the better, i used to weigh 383 pounds, and I'm only 5'9 I'm down to 250 and still practicing every day like it may be my last.

Sylvie needs to go on the joe rogan podcast

Holy shit.. tony jaa got me into Muay Thai... buakaw and rodtang make me want to get fit and see what I can do with my very mild cerebral palsy..on my right side.. being thought by and sitting the old masters is insane...  soaking up everything gah I’m 31 and want to start into better shape and find a Muay Thai gym after Covid... I’m trying to take bits and pieces of your stuff self train right now lol i’m going to be subbing to your Patreon right now.

That’s how I teep! A lot of these things I was taught when first getting in to Muay Thai. I feel like this stuff was more commonplace during the golden age of Muay Thai. That wrist strike was taught to me, I think between 200-2003 in Chiangmai. Using it to the side/back of the neck or jaw as a bridge into clinching was my go-to for some time.

That looks just like the shadowless kick that many kung fu styles have

That's pretty sick to be honest

Lerdrit is military Muay Thai.  It also happens to be the martial art of M. Bison from Street Fighter XD

This is quite similar to Kali and Silat, conceptually (weapon destruction), and the methodically.

In my utmost humble opinion.

“ Many rivers from the same source flows”

Appreciations for sharing and enable all of us the honor to observe and learn from such peers.

Sincere regards.

This is the essence of all martial arts I've trained wing chun for a few yrs and believe it or not this is bang the same teachings we're I come from excellent video very good to see true martial art and what it was intended for...combat!!

The way he moves is blowing my mind right now 😂 Like....how??? lol He has soooo many weapons.

This is so my style imma defo use these

The hand blocking technique looks very similar to a regular cross block used against a heavy kicker - just applied differently. That’s why I love traditional martial arts evolved in to fighting sports. At the base of every technique used, there’s always something that can be used in actual combat. If you look at kickboxing for instance it only has roots in other martial arts it is not a martial art in it’s own right and is purely a sport. It lacks base in tradition where the object was survival. In Muay Thai there are sooo many techniques that are not commonly applied in ring fights because they don’t make sense in a sport setting (with gloves etc).

Looks like a Bruce Lee style stop hit/stop kick.

I'm going to the Las Vegas camp February with Thongsia and Jongsanan from Fairtex. Sylvie, you should come! It's cheap as hell, $250 for a 3 day camp with world champs. There aren't many spots left! Love the videos! Hope to train with you some day and meet you in person!

Fantastic blocking technique. The leg catch to elbow counter stun move is still being taught, but the elbow kick block I haven't seen anywhere before.

I would love to learn from someone like him.

A lot of similar blocks and strikes as Choy lay fut kung fu… I trained with Burklerk Pinsinchai and his trainer Mok - they talked about how point scoring had taken away many Muay Thai techniques from the battlefield days

this reminds me of kung fu . the kick and backfist etc
