When someone 「適当に言う」, it doesn’t specify whether or not the utterance in question is factually correct or incorrect, nor the speaker’s attitude (proper or casual/rude). Rather, it expresses the suspicion that the speaker says things that are easily acceptable in the given situation, without really putting their heart into it. This is why both of the definitions you found are right, although they seem quite different from each other. You say to the other person what they want to hear (the “correct” thing), but you aren’t really giving it much thought.

Awww~! Cutie Botan ! 🤍
That smol "Yattaze/やったぜ" at 3:18, so cute. 🤍

Like how Mumei and Bae said in their respective Zatsudan / SC reading, that Botan at first glance is just too cool for them to approach, but we all know that Botan is the cool beauty with one of the biggest Gap Moe's in Hololive (Obviously being biased here)

I remember Subaru also talking about how Botan is just being very cute while they weren't streaming.

Its always nice hearing everyones changed perspective of Botan cuz it always rings true to how she really is like in her original bio it says "The mind of a lazy house cat in the body of a fearsome white lion"

2:05 Looks like Korone knew as Botan is indeed the youngest child in her family.

Her siblings is her older brother, Anilion, the middle sister, Anelion, and herself, the youngest.

I'm glad botans relationship with korone and lui brought watame into the circle

The reason Botan is cute on top of being a cool badass, is because if she isn't cute, the world will explode from the sheer unadulterated badass exuding from her existence.

Ahhh~~ Shishiron being cute as always www, really cool most of the time, but that shy or cute side of her makes it all worth being around her www

shishiron acting as a baby on that choco stream gave me so much happiness
youngest sister or cool sister shishiron is the cutest!

Always remembered me with Shubacocolunatan as Botan being youngest, it's so adorable

The end really brought out her cuteness.. I mean, look at this little sister, I can pamper her all day long:face-red-heart-shape:
Thank you for the clip as always, Botandyn!

Oh hey! I think this is the first time I've ever come across your clip on my Youtube feed. But I absolutely love the vocab at the end xD It's a very cool idea to help anyone who's trying to pick up Japanese. Thank you for doing that <3

So Botan got more little sister energy than Watame? That is unexpected

Botan's 'Yatta Ze' makes me want to give her head pats. Is it just me?

It's still funny to me that Botan is the youngest child while La+ is the oldest, because they both kinda seem like it'd be the opposite.

you should do another clip containing the whole conversation about the sister order, i want to know the final verdict! XD

Botan does have that younger sister vibes at times and it's very adorable, that you just want to spoil her. The girls know that very well.

completely agree. botan very cool, but then also botan so cute.

It's not much of a surprise. She has a bit of RBF, but she's so easygoing and pleasant behind that initial glimpse that it's hard to see her as aloof, unapproachable or standoffish after a few minutes of experience. Plus, when she expresses herself it feels genuine and sweet, unless she's frustrated which is rare.

Indeed like a kitten, if you extend her a finger you can expect a nuzzle.

Большое спасибо за клип!
