One thing I was always happy to see with the “I Dream of Jeannie” series is that the writers maintained the idea that genies are tricksters. So much comedy came out of Jeannie’s magical trickster antics.

Hayden Rourke here just nailed it! The lines he has are the best!

Mrs. Bellows always was a nosy parker. 🙄

Another of my favorite episodes involving an edible magical bakery goods is the episode with the pipchicks candies Jeannie’s mother made

You know , you have to give them so much credit ! No CGI ~ all magic done in real time with the word “ FREEZE” ! It was quite clever and could take minutes to hours before the scene would actually continue ~ sometimes the crew would be moving an entire roomful of items ~ ✨ 🧞‍♀️ ✨

been looking for this very episode for years! thanks a lot for posting it. That one with the IRS guy is also one of the funniest.

The premise of a psychiatrist commanding 2 astronauts is more weird than having a genie.

Emmaline Henry was gorgeous, and her onscreen chemistry with Hayden Rorke was superb.

Dr.Bellows and his wife are such nosy busybodies. Always have to have one or two in these 60's sitcoms. 🤣
Also, who just calls up a lady they've dated in the past but who they haven't seen in quite a while and she comes over with groceries and cooks for you? That is a fantasy in itself! 😆
