‘You’re getting sacked in the morning’ immediately springs to mind. O’Neill is 74 and to be fair to him, the last few interviews / pre-post match stuff I have seen with him suggests that, yes, he’s tired, going through the motions but at least he’s seriously questioning himself and not just laying this on the team. And rightly so. O’Neill is self-aware enough to know if he’s the weakest link. I think he might be. The odds on him resigning / getting sacked before Christmas - or even before the start of next week! - just radically shortened. ⛄️
