We spotted an old Farmall H for sale just up the road and brought it home for $500. It had been sitting in a barn for years, the tires were falling apart, the intake was disconnected, and nobody knew if it would ever run again.

After towing it back to the shop with a Yamaha golf cart, we dug into the ignition, rebuilt the carburetor, changed the fluids, cleaned out decades of dirt and bugs, and tried bringing this 1941 Farmall back to life.

Did we find an incredible old tractor—or bring home another terrible idea?
