I also tested three things I had barely used before. New trail shoes from OMM. Maple syrup and salt gels from SAP. And the On race pack. Here is the honest verdict on all three, delivered somewhere between mile seven and a bloody sock reveal at mile nineteen.

I see that I am spoiled, as a Norwegian I am used to views like this right outside my doorstep and to be able to drink straight from the rivers almost wherever I hike.
These are the races I love to see and hear about, the majors are cool for sure but this stuff which is unique and also get you places you wouldn't have got to see others is 👌
