My brother just had a heart transplant; doing beyond AMAZING. So, my point is there is hope, he,s had his struggles the past 3 years, and is lucky to be alive surviving a Cardiac Arrest. His wife decided to make a sandwich before going for a walk. Within 2 minutes, he lost consciousness and stopped breathing.
Long story short, 6 weeks in a coma and a Pacemaker and defibrillator, learning to walk and speak again, not to mention what it did to his mental state, and his kidneys right after the arrest, he was ok. For awhile.
Been struggling ever since.
Here’s a guy who never drank or smoked, 6’4” 225lbs. The poor guy was too long for the hospital bed too.
As time went on his heart just wasn’t getting what the pacemaker was trying to do. So at 68 he was placed on the list. I believe he was on it for maybe 5 months?
Of course they begin a ton of testing immediately. Got the call on a Saturday morning around 5 am. They were out of town at their river property. Packed up and headed to the hospital.
He was tested, prepped and ready to go by 7pm. Surgery was at 11:30pm, as they were waiting for the heart to arrive.
8 hour plus surgery. Same issues with his kidney, dialysis like last time for a couple months off and on and other issues.
Very complicated procedure. I guess I never thought of all the things that can go wrong.
He now still in physical therapy, battling depression, on lots of meds, but, he’s ALIVE!
And this is the miracle I WANT FOR YOU! 💕❤️🙏🙏🙏🥰
