Nothing will ever reach the magic of Deep Purple in 1972! MADE IN JAPAN is the ultimate live rock album and will remain untouchable forever. No tribute band, including Demon’s Eye, could ever match Purple at their peak – they were masters of improvisation and musical telepathy. What we do is celebrate that era on stage and keep the flame alive for audiences who still love this sound as much as we do. If we can give the audience even a small glimpse of what it felt like back then – raw energy, improvisation, and that unique Purple spirit – we are more than happy. Forever grateful for the music and the inspiration! Long Live Deep Purple! Cheers from Germany!

MADE IN JAPAN was my first music purchase ever, as a teenager, I STILL HAVE IT. Long Live Deep Purple.

Greetings for all deep purple fans around the world.
Saludos a todos los deep purple fans alrededor del planeta!!

I was working at EMI Records when this album was released.
THE finest Live Album ever!!!
🤘😎🔥👍

Absolutely lost for words. Have the 2LP since 1973.The best ever Live album on planet Earth.

And this kids is how you do a live show, no auto tune no backing tapes, no prancing about,  no changing outfits for every song, everybody playing their actual instruments, no sound effects or fancy light show, just pure rock, with a bit of genius thrown in, the right people at the right time, never ever going to be another deep purple same goes for led zep and black sabbath, with the other man in black Tony iommi the riff master giving us so many great guitar moments, there will be an immense gap  when these groups have gone

Deep Purple my first experience with rock, back in the late 80's as a kid. sneaking in my older's brother room and listening his records. All my life in love with rock and metal. Long live Deep Purple, the best hard rock band ever

I still love this band...and this album after all these years. Purple forever!!!

The best live performance ever, this remix is the best I've heard in years. Long life to Deep Purple from Chile

I love  this album so much ! My uncle used  play it for me . Such a great memories...Long life to Deep Purple!

I tuned in just for the last track, Space Truckin, but what a magical immersive experience it turned out to be.
I laid on the floor, put my headphones on and closed my eyes, and it felt as if I were there, in Osaka, on August 16th, 1972.
No drugs needed, just Jon's organ talking to Ian's drums, just absolute sync between each member of the band, and the very delicate panoramic mix across the whole stage, wow, total drop out.

Engineered by Martin Birch and remixed by Steven Wilson. The Holy Grail of Rock and Roll.

No one has a tone like Blackmore , they were a tour de force live the timing is just incredible even through too the MK3 Purple .....Final concerts in Paris when Blackmore unleashes......... hope I see I'm play again but his health is not that great right now get well soon Ritchie

For ever and ever in the pantheon of gods of rock!
The best live album ever.

The second guitar solo in strange kind of woman has always amazed me. How all the band gets more intense along with Ritchie's playing. It's more of the whole band is soloing. The true meaning of Deep Purple

For me, an essential and indispensable live album. Undeniably one of the best in history.

Rich and totally spectacular!! The greatest live rock album ever and more than 50 years later it will now reach even wider audiences. Jon Lord is smiling. He really loved this album.

Child in Time is still my favorite song of all time, and Made In Japan is my favorite album of all time!
