Somebody out there still remembers the Garvin/Valentine feud don't they?

THAT FINISH WAS SO AWESOME!

That was an excellent finish to a great match, the way that they had Mr. Perfect reverse that suplex into a perfect-plex was just amazing. Great match, thank you very much for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Perfect was such a great character. As a kid, I hated him but he always found a way to win

Fantastic reversal by Perfect at the last second, turning a disadvantage into a win in mere seconds. You don't see that kind of wrestling anymore these days.

Garvin was more popular than people give him credit for

back in the days when finishing moves were sacred -- that was a fun match!

great match,  Ronnie G was a tough sob,  Mr Perfect was a great wrestler who knew how to sell.  he along with Rick Rude really knew how to make their opponents shine.....Rip to the both of them..

Perfect was a great wrestler and good worker too, even in matches where he won, he always made his opponent look good too.

Perfect plex out of nowhere.

This was an outstanding match

I love Ronnie garvins style he's awesome

Rugged Ronnie is a legend

Those punches by Garvin.... Vicious!!

The fans sure loved Rugged Ronnie Garvin.  Just listen to those cheers for Garvin.

Other then Rude taking an atomic drop, no one sold like Perfect!!

What a MATCH

That was a brutal feud....Garvin / Valentine

You hit the nail on the head and what I've been saying for a decade now.  Today's fans were raised on the Meltzer philosophy that wrestling is an actual sport; to be judged on a technical evaluation of the matches and  wrestler's skills.  That was not what this business was about and it's clear that today's general audience rejects this idea of the IWC dweebs that wrestling should be treated like a sport ... because it is boring.

Characters and gimmicks were what made wrestling great.
