Metal Sonic, initially made to defeat Sonic. But has grown far beyond that goal since his creation.
Thank you for viewing my video! It'd be absolutely amazing if you liked and subscribed, I mean it's free to do both so why not? And while you're at it maybe hit the bell icon so you can get my new videos on release!

If Metal Sonic watched your video, he would not be able to answer your question.

Imagine Metal Sonic meeting the Brotherhood of Metallix from Sonic The Comic and Metal Sonic having to come to terms with the fact that are thousands of him.

23:41 (breaking character for a moment I'm so honoured to have inspired someone to appreciate one of my favourite characters in all fiction, you really gave Metal's story some justice despite how convoluted it can get at times and I hope you'll reach your 10 k goal by the end of the year, until then, I'm gonna keep watching and supporting you as much as I can cuz your videos are unironically some of my favourite on this entire platform)

(Someone else alr pointed this out but I'm keeping this here for the algorithm.)
One thing I want to mention is that Metal Sonic comes BEFORE Mecha Sonic. Yes, Mecha Sonic in the real world was made first BUT not on purpose. The US team and JP Team of Sega made Sonic 2 and Sonic CD at the same time and accidentally made two robot Sonics, Sonic 2 just came out slightly earlier. So later on down the road when they cared more about the lore, they decided to establish that Sonic CD takes place before Sonic 2. You can see this in Sonic Origins (The most recent rerelease of the first 4 classic games) where in the story mode you go through every game in timeline order, and CD comes after Sonic 1 and before Sonic 2. This means Metal predates Mecha Sonic in canon.

i think with sonic 4 episode 2, metal sonic had to be retrieved from little planet again becuase sonic mania's metal sonic fight took place in stardust speedway (which is on little planet)

So the timeline goes something like : get trashed in cd, gets rebuilt and destroyed in knuckles chaotix, gets repaired and beaten in mania, comes back in sonic 4.
