Nicely done. I've done Quito  many times myself in the DC8 then later on in B757.  Much nicer with the glass in the 757. I'm  retired now so I will watch you kids have fun.

The look on captain's face when he landed.. He  knew he made a bumper 😉😁... But kudos to the captain and his co pilot for the level of professionalism they exhibited

I am not a pilot but I recognize professionalism, teamwork and skill when I see it. Well done indeed.

As I  had said on one of the other Lufthansa videos, these Germans are sooo Professional. Fly with this airline anytime!

The female co-pilot has a wonderful voice.  Very fluent, clear, and pleasant sounding.

Pilots have alot going on while flying these big machines. I have much respect for their work.

I really appreciate how controlled and calm pilots are in the face of very stressful situations. My hat is off to all of you.

unfassbar gute ausdrucksweise vom kapitän sehr angenehm zuzuhören

These Lufthansa pilots make it look so easy.  I love how they transition seamlessly between German and very competent English.  This is quite different from the Korean, Chinese and Russian crews who struggle with minimal English competency at JFK

Sunday 10/212023-I was a little down due to the state of our world today, so I revisited my two old friends here enroute to Quito. Hello old friends if you happen to see this. Although you didn't know it, I enjoyed travelling along with you on the breathtaking flight several times. It, and your subsequent departure are two of my favorite virtual adventures. Thank you again and of course many thanks to the content poster! I hope all is well with y'all!🙂

Explains how difficult it is to land at this airport, lands like a boss... I love these guys

That MD-11 is such a beautiful airplane

I love to hear her saying Lufthansa Cargo 8260. It's so pleasant sounding.

Seems extremely well-organised & highly professional.  Enjoyable learning about the procedures & seeing the cockpit view (so much better than passenger view) that we never get to see any more (I remember years ago being allowed in the cockpit for the landing at NCL).  This is a very well-put together video with a really interesting location.

what a landing, just imagine being in the captain's seat for that one, lovely external shots too. fabulous

This was filmed at the old UIO airport.  The new UIO airport is (relatively) easier to use.  ¡Bienvenidos a Ecuador!

What a great landing. I would have every confidence in flying with that crew.

It fascinates me, a person who's uncomfortable flying, see these pilots look at the challenging approach with excitement. These people have steel in their bones.

I've never flown Lufthansa, but after watching this, I think I will. Very professional!
