A reason why the salafi creed has gained such a foothold in the English speaking West is a lack of well spoken Sunni Sufi scholars such as Shaykh Asrar who can counter their narrative and present the truth.

May Allah SWT preserve Shiekh Asraar (hh) and increase him in knowledge

As a Qatari/Algerian Muslim living now in the West, I must profess my immense gratitude to Sheikh Asrar Rashid for his many brilliant works and endeavours, that have helped me combat my doubts over the years and have made me firm upon my beliefs in Islam, and in particular the orthodox Sunni tradition. Sheikh Asrar is an absolutely underrated scholar and treasure to the muslims living here in the West - I ask Allah to bless him, give him a long life and assist him in his many services to the Ummah. Thank you Akhi Dilly & the team, I am a regular viewer of your channel and I was absolutely delighted to see a podcast with the honourable Sheikh. Would love to see him featured more and more!

Salam brother Dilly, this has been one of the most beneficial podcasts I've listened to. It has answered many of the misconceptions I had on the Sufis. Like a veil had been lifted from my sight. May Allah guide us all on the straight path and prevent us from departing it.

I am from a shafi’i Madhab background with a lot of exposure in the Salafi schools, I respect this shaykh soo much because of his steadfastness in his knowledge

Brother we need a long podcast like this with Shaykh Riyadh Ul Haq and Dr. Mufti Abdur Rahman Ibn Yusuf Mangera.

A great episode. I lost count how many times Sh Rashid was interrupted as he answered a question. Very frustrating

1:04:34 Literally it was the sufi merchant who brought Islam to Southeast Asia especially my country Philippines it was Sharif Makhdoum who was an arab sufi merchant brought Islam prior to the Spaniard Colonize of the Philippines.
