This guy is not a contractor. He's a scammer.

He lands and manages the big jobs, and then subs out the cheapest labor he can find and pockets the rest.

As a contractor he is responsible for knowing the building codes.

All society is like this , from pharmaceutical, to food production  to politicians

The contractor won't need a colonoscopy this year as he just got one.

At first I thought, damn dude is talking to him like he’s a child. By the end of the video it was clear he is, indeed, a child.

On top of that, insurance companies aren't going to insure that house just by the chimney alone.

He’s not a contractor. He’s a sub-sub-contractor. He bids the job, and then finds the absolute cheapest work he can find for it. It’s like those services that advertise expertise in a given field, and then you find out that they’re just a middle man, contracting your work out to the cheapest bidder. These scumbags exist in every market. Do your due diligence. Check licenses. Check reviews. Do your homework. This is a safety issue.

Great job holding him accountable.   He should be ashamed. The fact he's not accepting responsibility shows he hasn't learned or is willing to learn.   He should get his license suspended until he gets recertification and passes the inspectors test.

I’ve been a builder for 28 years and I’ve seen some bad work done and people rip off you left and right it’s crazy and these kind of people that pretend their general contractors are clowns. Just go around ripping people off it’s crazy.

Preston is NOT making blame statements. He's trying to get this idiot to take responsibility for sub-par work, fix the problem, and to stop placing blame. The lawsuit is the least of the contractor's worries as many States have monetary caps on contractor's overcharging,  where the contractor can receive 5 to 20 year prison sentences.
