Raja said his situation is legal, but also mentioned his dad having control of his SFE. That didn’t sound super legal to me. He should go speak to citizens advice and student services to get help with extricating himself financially.

I couldn’t tell if it was scripted at first but I feel bad for Raja 😭 this happens and I feel like he needs solid advice. Forced marriages are haram, I think he should try involve other family members to back him if he can 😭 even if he creates ‘drama’ it’s worth ur freedom.

Raja, don't listen to ur parent, ur not doing anything wrong, force marriage isnt allowed anyways, let ur parents be upset etc, find someone u want, marry them and theyll come round, also dont listen to these and ruin so many lives by an affair, ik u wont do that cause you already said its haraam etc, just stand ur ground, and idk if you can somehow get ur student finace from them, if its in ur name etc, dont give into pressure especially if u know u wont be able to love their choice of a wife, cousin marriage is allowed but many choose not to and thats fine too, everyone has a preference.
