Having dramatic piano music playing in the background always makes my knots stronger. Just saying.

Its beautiful! Theres even a kind of drama or surprise in the fact that the ring itself is an important part of the knot. I love it

A simple fishermen's knot, pretty good for tying things that aren't going to be under tension all the time, sometimes hard to undoo though.

Try it with a #6 fishing hook and 4lb test monofilament line.

Looks like a reverse hangman’s noose to me

Is this one in the ABOK? How does it compare to the Anchor Hitch?

Now turn it over and show the back side!

Lots of haters. But every knot has its place. This would be useful in certain applications.

I want to THANK YOU for doing these video at the slow pace to take!

So many videos of this type move at a pace that requires me to end up watching numerous times, and that’s frustrating.

Learning the sequence and numerous practices so muscle memory kicks-in is key!

As a sailor I prefer strong knots which I also can open under load. It looks as if this is not possible with this one. For lifting things I do believe it's a good knot. Thank you.
