"Don't Let your Period Control your life"

- Sharon 2021

@booklover1298 5 years ago (edited)

The moms who made their boys apologize did the right thing. The friend who helped their friend get a stuck tampon out and taught her how to insert one is such a good friend. It was wrong of that friend to blame the person for slipping & falling. A period isn't something that one can control, but the friend should've helped the girl somehow.

Hearing period horror stories on the first day of my period is kinda making me nervous for the next 6 days😱

@reesefinlay1831 5 years ago

I got my first period last month (just for clarity). My first period story: I woke up at 2 am to go to the bathroom and I saw brown stuff on the toilet seat. I was pretty prepared for my period since my mom educated me about it from a young age. I was so excited I passed out and hit my head on the floor. I had to go to the ER right then. I was fine but one of the nurses came up to me while we were walking out and she gave me a whole period kit with pads, tampons, chocolate, midol, and sanitary wipes. (And btw please do mine 🥺)

hey friends 😂
I’m just gonna expose mine to the whole wide internet right here.
so MY summer story is;
I was with My friends Layne and her boyfriend Lance. (My boy best friend) so, we all went to the local water park and this was my second period. I didn’t know it would come so soon but it came 2 weeks later since it’s not regular the first few times. We all went in the wave pool and when the wave came i jumped and while i was in the air, i have no idea how but there was red coming out of my bathing suit. My bathing suit was light grey, so it was easy to see. So 1. I had a stained bathing suit, 2. Everyone knew it was me and 3.The wave pool closed for an hour because of me -_-

Mother Nature really does know to come at the worst times.

I was having a sleepover with my friend and BOOM, it started. I didn't want to tell my friend because I low-key feel like they're sexist and think that all period havers (despite eventually having to have them themselves) and just periods in general or the female reproductive system are disgusting . This is just the vibe I get though and I really like being their friend so if this was true I wouldn't know what to do.
