SG1 is one of the few Sci-Fi series to understand proper integration of humor. In the writing, I never felt that they took the ridiculous premise unrealistically seriously, but still felt that there was weight to their actions. I wish that this was done properly in other series.
''Paradise might be deceiving.'' ''One man's ceiling is another man's floor.'' ''A fool's paradise is a wise man's hell.'' ''...never run with... scissors?''
''Now we must wait for the giant aliens'' ''That just has a nice ring to it.''
''Apparently the snake likes you.'' ''Really?'' O'Neill plays & struggles with Yo-Yo for 10 seconds ''Yep, I think these are the Jack O'Neill moments I would probably miss the most.'' ''What?'' ''What?''
O'Neill: " I do appreciate that you're the one who came to see that I was okay...that means something". Daniel: " Um, actually no it doesn't. We drew straws, I lost."
Old man :"He insisted. Daniel is standing right beside me..." Jack :"He's lost a few pounds." Daniel: "Jack don't be an ass.." Old man: "jack don't be an ass." Jack:"...Daniel..." đđđđđ
