I found this really interesting indie developer fellow. Spent way to long making a video about him. I think it turned out nicely though. Next videos will be a lot shorter and come out quicker. Thank you for watching and if you want to you can follow my other socials.

This is probably going to be a very long comment as I'd like to address everything in this video
Funnily enough I very much agree with your initial description of NEON. You work on something for long enough and you kinda just grow to hate it and want it to be done, and so the description you give is very accurate to how I feel about the game. I hate it.
Thank you for pronouncing my name correctly. You would not believe some of the pronunciations I've heard from others.
I also still don't know why that damn banban video got so popular
The crashout wasn't because people didn't like NEON (although that is true), the crashout stemmed from a few comments in particular that really just irked me the wrong way. It wasn't that I hated getting criticism/critiques, it was that in my mind at that moment I found the critique very dumb. Looking back that was NOT the case, and combined with the fact that I've given critiques on things that were probably even stupider, it was extremely hypocritical.
Again, not offended or resistant, just in a very VERY wrong mindset that ultimately resulted in the crashout. I am usually VERY open to feedback and it's one of the reasons I've started streaming some game development live so people can give feedback during the process instead of after the fact.
You are correct, my game design skills ARE shit, especially for puzzles, which isn't great when trying to make a dedicated puzzle game. And to be honest, I don't know why I posted the crashout either.
Also correct, it was completely insane to go after specific people. My original "skill issue" reply to that comment was meant to be in a joking manner as I was under the impression that they were the ONLY ONE stuck since I had had plenty of other people beat the section easily, and before certain hints were added. I failed to realize that not all people think the same way, and what might be straightforward to some people, is not to others.
Before even watching the section, I can already guess what will be said when comparing my game to the banban video. pre-made assets, bad gameplay mechanics, voice acting, and obviously crashing out on criticism
(also no the robot is not supposed to be drunk, never figured out a fix for that)
Yes, very Portal inspired (some might say even too much). I'm also SO glad to see that the Speedrun Timer's position is bugged. Also the reason you pick up the door was because SUPER early into development I didn't know how to animate, so I just made the player grab the door and toss it (Same reason the Robots have the strange frame-by-frame animation). Eventually it was so intertwined with the code I ended up keeping it.
Also yeah, there's a reason the stealth "mechanic" is only in one level.
I could keep addressing all the other quirks you point out with the game, but that's not really the point of this comment. All in all, the criticisms you make are extremely fair.
The joking explanation of the banban video is funny because that was never the point of the video. The whole point of the video was to simply try and gain a small audience who would be interested in my game. It's why I bring NEON up several times in that video. For some reason though that video exploded despite it's shit editing and voice over and even today is still growing.
Yup, my game is very similar to Portal. No defense for that.
I actually didn't know that about the Portal gun, I just used it as an example because it's an item you have in your hand constantly like the remote
Yup, the pre-made assets. Also no defense for that. And yes, I do realize that my game has the same, if not more flaws than banban. There's not really a good way for me to defend that. I could go an make excuses about how "Oh it's my first game and banban is like the 8th game for the Euphoric Brothers!" but that would just make the situation worse. I also mostly meant for the Introvert section to show how the Euphoric Brothers had dealt with controversy in the past, not to constantly hold it against them with every game release, though I can see how it might have came off that way in the video.
Yeaa... the ending "advice." Again, I don't have any excuses or defenses for that. I'm honestly more so glad that people like you ARE talking about this and holding me accountable like I asked.
And yes, I was just walking through the common talking points for banban. The intention wasn't to be this big Game Criticizer, it just so happened that the banban video exploded, and those viewers wanted more critique videos.
Definitely was NOT the intention to be checking off boxes from Portal, though there isn't really much of an explanation I can give that would say otherwise. The radio easter egg was something I just had a bunch of my friends get together and do for fun. I'm actually shocked you even mentioned it.
The maze level is shit. No defense there. It definitely needed to be more clear in some aspects, like the robots that appear randomly. Those robots are SUPPOSED to guide you to the exit. It was meant to be an indicator that "hey, there's danger this way... turn around!"
Ok Level 13 (14 if you count the tutorial level) is not as clear as I would have liked. The rocket launcher isn't actually needed to solve the puzzle, but is more so meant to be the IN-UNIVERSE solution. Since you get the grapple gun from an area that isn't part of the tests, you wouldn't actually have it if you went through the tests normally, so I added the rocket launcher to be that solution. In hindsight, all it really did was make the level more confusing, especially since (like you pointed out) player jank is part of the intended solution.
The ending wasn't actually meant to resemble Portal's ending. That's totally unintentional.
Thank you for the kind words at the end (I'm not entirely sure I really deserve them). The whole Great Logna Crashout was very much wrong. It's something that shouldn't have ever happened especially if you look at the added context of the banban video and even NEON itself. I can make excuses all day about it but that would also be wrong. I was in the wrong mindset and like I said in the banban video, needed to be held accountable, which is exactly what you've done. I'm happy to say that I've made amends with one of the people I got mad at, and the goal is to never have another incident like this. This has been a major learning opportunity for me, and I do plan to make an apology video. This comment isn't meant to be an excuse or an argument to start more drama, just something to hopefully clear stuff up a little bit more.
Seriously, thank you for making this video.
