October 1969. Five days in Belgium. One festival that almost nobody remembers — and one jam session that should never be forgotten. This is the only known time Frank Zappa ever shared a stage with Pink Floyd. Roger Waters. David Gilmour. Richard Wright. Nick Mason. Together. For over 55 years, this footage existed — but nobody could truly see it. Blurry. Dark. Lost to time.I spent weeks carefully restoring this Pink Floyd rare footage to a quality most people have never experienced before. Suddenly you can see the facial expressions, the stage atmosphere, the raw energy of that night in Amougies, Belgium. This is Pink Floyd live 1969 — at the Actuel Festival — the Belgian Woodstock — the way it was meant to be seen.🎸 What you'll see in this video:
The full story of the Actuel Festival and how Zappa ended up there
The restored jam session footage — Interstellar Overdrive, October 25th 1969
Reaction and commentary on one of rock history's most overlooked moments
