Meta has new audio-only Ray-Ban glasses, new VR glasses that no longer look like a nerd helmet and a new voice-and-video mode for its Muse AI agent. I sat down with Mark Zuckerberg at Meta’s headquarters ahead of the company’s Connect conference to talk about all of it. And yes, we also get into the metaverse, privacy, “pervert glasses,” recording indicator lights—and whether AI is going to kill us.

I feel that even more with your independent channel… You are not just reviewing the shiny new tech.. You are looking at what it means for people… This conversation with Mark is a great example of that…
Thanks for such thoughtful content, Joanna!
Like, isn't picking out a recipe something you'd want to do with your kid? Isn't shopping for ingredients something you could do with your kid? If my kid is into something I don't know about, I would take that as an opportunity to learn about it with them, have them teach me what they know, learn more about it together. I wouldn't want to send some sycophantic software off to do the "drudgery" for me. The drudgery is part of the process! "I don't want to learn how to apply brush strokes, I just want the painting to be done." "I don't want to learn to play the guitar, I just want to have a song created."
That point of view seems like someone who wants a forest without planting trees.
